hello,
i am a felt designer/maker and developed an obsession with feltmaking many years ago, 'fatcat felt’, was born out of this passion.
i love everything about working with wool, and that the end result can still be a surprise! wool is a really versatile, natural material with lots of wonderful properties, plus it's lovely and soft to work with and there's no end to the items you can create from felt.
initially self-taught i soon caught the felting bug and have now enjoyed various courses, classes and workshops, each one adding a new element to my work.
i love that, even though i've been a felt maker for a while now, there are still exciting new techniques to learn!
i have been selling at craft fairs and markets for the past three years and am delighted that my work is now selling successfully in high street shops across the uk.
as well as creating felt goodies, i also enjoy teaching workshops. it is really rewarding to pass on the skills i have learned and watch folk get as much fun out of feltmaking as i do.
